Built for the part of the interview
you can actually control.
You cannot control the panel composition, the job market, or whether the company freezes headcount the week of your final round. But you can control how well you know your own work — and how clearly you can talk about it under pressure. That is the problem we are here to solve.
Why Greenroom exists
The interview process has always tested the wrong thing. Most technical interviews measure how fast you recall a specific algorithm pattern — not whether you can architect a real system, debug a production incident, or explain a decision you made under real constraints.
Developers who build genuinely impressive things still fail interviews because they freeze when asked to talk about their own code out loud. That is not a skill gap. It is a preparation gap — and it is completely fixable.
We built Greenroom to close that gap. Not with a question bank you memorize. With a voice AI that reads what you have actually built and puts you through the exact kind of pressure a strong interviewer would apply — so nothing feels new on the day that matters.
"No one should lose a job because they froze, not because they could not do it."
What we stand for
Four things anchor every product decision we make.
Your work should speak for you
Generic question banks test your prep, not your ability. Greenroom reads your actual repos and builds sessions around the choices you have already made — your architecture, your trade-offs, your stack.
Practice should mirror reality
Interviews are spoken. Typing answers into a chatbot does not build that muscle. Greenroom is voice-first because the discomfort of speaking out loud is exactly what you need to get comfortable with before the real thing.
Preparation without the performance
We are not building a coaching persona or a brand around hype. We are building a tool that works quietly in the background until you need it — and gives you honest, specific feedback when you do.
Your code stays yours
We read your repos to personalise your session. We do not store your source code permanently, we do not train models on it, and we do not share it. What you built is yours.
Who uses Greenroom
Mostly software engineers preparing for technical interviews — mid-level to senior, across backend, frontend, and full-stack roles. People who have real experience but have not interviewed in a few years. People who know their code cold but freeze the moment someone asks "walk me through your architecture."
We are not built for people who want to cram 50 Leetcode problems the night before. We are built for engineers who want their actual work to finally land the way it should.
Where we are headed
Right now Greenroom is focused entirely on the candidate side — voice mocks, GitHub-personalised sessions, transcript feedback, and structured prep plans. We are a small team and we would rather be genuinely useful in a narrow area than mediocre across a broad one.
If you have feedback — what worked, what did not, what you wish existed — we read every message.
Connect your GitHub and run your first mock in under three minutes.
